Match format
The Switch
Vibe Pickleball League is the product. The Switch is how we play. Two teams of four, two courts, everyone on at once.
Game 1 and Game 2
- Game 1: two fixed pairings from each team, one pairing per court.
- Play to 11, win by 2. You must win the final point while serving.
- Game 2: partners switch within each team. Same scoring.
- If the match is split 1-1, play The Switch.
The Switch
- Use the two remaining cross-pairings (the pairings that have not faced each other yet).
- Each pairing plays an 8-point block using side-out scoring. No rally scoring. Scores add to 8.
- Team with the most total points after both blocks wins.
- If tied, the pairing currently on court stays for sudden death: win by 2 and win the point while serving.
- The Switch does not count toward individual player points.
